Brand Evolution
Les Jardins to The Gardens

With the business renamed, the established brand needed to be carried forward, incorporating the equity it had built over the years. A new location was also being added which needed to be incorporated into the website, with an update to the website layout, content structure, and website architecture.

To accomplish the renaming while carrying forward the existing brand, the logo, graphic elements, messaging, and the writing were updated. Within this process, existing typographic design elements incorporated the new location, with new graphics created for the second location. The added new location presented an opportunity to strengthen the overall brand and the original location. Using the existing visual style of the design elements, graphics were created for both locations, with messaging and writing developed.

While the writing was updated to reflect the new name, content for the new location had to be written in the established tone, style, and feel. With the new writing incorporated into existing content to ensure it works as one, and within brand.

With the updated messaging, writing, and written content developed, the graphics provided a better visual structure in the website layout, and helped better lead visitors through the content, pages, and website. The website architecture was updated to incorporate the new content as new pages and additions to existing pages. With the updates reflected in the links and website navigation.

Project Notes The Gardens
Renamed to The Gardens, the existing brand needed to be carried forward into the redesign of graphics and the rewriting of content. To achieve the change, new graphics, messaging, and written content had to be developed, as there was a new location being added. This provided the opportunity to use the new location and the two locations, to strengthen the brand.
