Designed from the primary logo, a secondary logo provides some flexibility in how a business is visually represented in the extensive amount of platforms where the business needs to have a presence. A secondary logo enables an existing logo to be made responsive in instances where the logo doesn’t work well in different size ratios, or where the business needs to have a typographic version so the name can be read.
The secondary logo can be a typographic version, a graphic version, an icon, or the logo made to be wider, taller, or simplified for smaller spaces.
